PRESIDENT APPOINTS GOVERNMENT MEMBERS
Support A1+!RoA Robert Kocharian signed a decree on June 8 under which the Ministry of Culture and Youth Affairs was renamed the Ministry of Culture.
The state committee of sports and physical culture is restructured into a Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs.
Another presidential decree of June 8 appointed government members.
Aghvan Vardanian was appointed the Minister of Labour and Social Affairs. The responsible party of this ministry is the Armenian Republican Party (HHK) but the appointed minister is from the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (Dashnaksutiun).
Dashnak Davit Lokian and Levon Mkrtchian will respectively head the Ministries of Agriculture and Education and Science.
Harutiun Kushkian from the Prosperous Armenia (BHK) is the head of the Health Ministry.
Armen Grigorian, also from the BHK, is in charge of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs.
Vardan Vardanian from the same party is the Minister of Urban Development.

Manuk Topuzian was re-appointed the head of the government staff.
Nerses Yeritsian – Minister of Trade and Economic Development.
Aram Harutyunian – Minister of Environment Protection
The Armenian president also appointed territorial management minister, Hovik Abrahamian, as deputy prime minister. The decree dismissed Gevorg Danielian from the post of deputy chief prosecutor.
