UNITY ALLIANCE FOREVER REMAINED IN BOOKS OF TIME
Support A1+!“Unity” Alliance ceased existing de jure. Armenian People Party, which has quitted the alliance de facto, announced today about a new group creation.
The “People Voice” new group, leading by Grigor Harutyunyan, comprises of 8 National Assembly members, who are APP activists, and 2 non-partisan MPs.
“There was necessity to create the group, because, being within the “Unity”, we as a rule didn’t share the alliance views. This was the only way to express our attitude”, Grigor Harutyunyan said. According to him, “once Karen Demirchyan and Vazgen Sarkisyan actually constituted the alliance”. “Despite we are their successors we have to take such a step”, new-established group's leader said adding that the group will keep guiding by “Unity” principles to serve people interests.
