KARABAGHI PRESIDENT PARTLY GRANTS PARDON TO SASUN AGHAJANYAN

As Mediamax Agency releases, today Karabaghi president Arkadi Ghukasyan signed a decree on partly granting pardon to Sasun Aghajanyan, the sentenced one under the February 26, 2001, decision of Supreme Court of Nagorno Karabagh .

Under the edict, suspended sentence was substituted for imprisonment taking into account his health state.

Sasun Aghajanyan was sentenced to a 14 years' imprisonment because of being privy to the attempt upon Karabaghi president's life.
