DEPUTIES WILL BE SEARCHED
Support A1+!The heads of Parliament’s parties and groups discussed the situation in Parliament with speaker Armen Khachatryan. It was expected that representatives of political powers would find the way to “free” the platform of Parliament from the deputies of the Opposition. But the platform was still occupied by the deputies of “National Unity”, “Republic”, “Armenian People’s Party” and Communism parties.
Hayk Babukhanyan, the vice-chairman of “Constitutional Right Union” party suggested the ruling parties in Parliament to support to appeal to the Constitutional Court for the bill on impeachment to be entered on the agenda. Armen Khachatryan said the Juridical Department of Parliament is engaged in drawing up the document for appealing to the Constitutional Court.
Then Vardan Ayvazyan, the Minister of Ecology submitted the bill on Entrails of the Earth. Parliament speaker Armen Khachatryan specified there were no questions on the bill and put it to the vote. But the Parliament work failed as the bill wasn’t voted for enough. 3 more bills failed, too.
Speaker Armen Khachatryan ceased works and told the “deputies to come to the Parliament Hall without guns for service the following day”. The deputies will be searched before entering the Parliament Hall and “Makarov” guns will be seized temporarily if found.
