Armenian tennis player Sargis Sargsyan was beaten 3-6, 4-6 by Radek Stepanek in the first round at the NASQAD -100 Open.

Sargis has sunk lower in world ranking after a series of defeated he suffered within the last two months. If he fails to perform well in the nearest future he will be ineligible for the Olympics.
