“CIS CHAMPIONS CUP” STARTING SOON
Support A1+!On January 17 games of the Champions’ Cup of CIS will start in Moscow. It is officially called “CIS Champions Cup”. 16 teams are divided into 4 groups. The clubs winning the 1st and 2nd places will reach the quarter of the final.
Yerevan’s “Pyunik” will represent Armenia for the third year. It was the champion of Armenia of 2003’ football games.
The Armenian Club is included in the C group and it will compete with Tallinn’s “Flora”, Kiev’s “Dinamo”, and Ashgabat ’s “Nisa”.
”Pyunik” will appear to the tournament with its main staff. The Argentinean full-back of the team Jose Bilibio hasn’t yet return to Yerevan after the winter holidays and now gains experience in a European club. Diavara Mamadu from Africa isn’t in “Pyunik”, either.
The games of the quarter final will take place on January 21, semifinal games on January 25, and the final ones on January 26.
