Grandmaster Hrant Melkumyan justifies his status
Hrant Melkumyan, a member of the Armenian men's chess team, has performed succesfully in the FIDE Open Chess Championship in London. Our grandmaster, who has the highest rating among the participants, have won the first two rounds and now heads the tournament table. In the third round, he will compete with international female master Sophie Milly.
