Political analyst Armen Baghdasaryan is convinced that snap parliamentary elections are beneficial for all forces except RPA and ARF Dashnaktsutyun.
“But they have no resources to resist and we can say for sure that we will have snap parliamentary elections in December.”
Hamazasp Danielyan, a member of the professional committee on electoral changes under the RA prime minister, says it is difficult to say whether it will be possible to change the electoral code by December.
“It depends on the interest of the parliamentary forces,” he says.
According to him, the project for the public discussion is well developed despite the shortage of time.
Human rights defender Vardan Harutyunyan notes that it will not be terrible if the elections are held under the current code.
“If there is political will to hold free and fair elections, there will be good elections.”
According to Armen Baghdasaryan, Civil Contract, PAP and Luys alliance will be included in a new parliament.
“It possible that there will be some new liberal forces, it is less possible that RPA and ARF Dashnaktsutyun will be included.”
