Emin Yeritsyan becomes co-chair of CORLEAP
On September 24, the plenary session of Conference of Regional and Local Authorities for the Eastern Partnership (CORLEAP) was held in Kiev, during which Emin Yeritsyan, President of the Union of Communities of Armenia, was elected Co-Chair. The First Deputy Chairman of the Committee of Regions of the European Union Markku Markkula congratulated Emin Yeritsyan, and mentioned that Mr. Yeritsyan already has a co-chairing experience and believes that the activity of CORLEAP will be effective in the next year. The agenda issues of the CORLEAP plenary session included community co-operation, economic development at the local level, involvement of young citizens, EU financial support to member states and other topics.
