Levon Aronian to miss first round of Chess Olympiad
Today, the 43rd World Chess Olympiad will be held in Batumi. In the men's tournaments 185 national teams from 183 countries will participate, and in women's tournament - 151 teams from 141 countries. Georgia, as an organizing country, will compete with 3 teams. It should be added that the men's national team of Armenia is the 8th among the participant teams (2688) and the women's team (2353) is the 12th.
