The delegation headed by the Minister of Diaspora Mkhitar Hayrapetyan is in Syria on a working visit. On September 20, the minister met with representatives of the Armenian community of Damascus. Mkhitar Hayrapetyan is the first official representing the Republic of Armenia to leave for Aleppo since 2011, when the Syrian war has started.
