Minister of Education and Science Arayik Harutyunyan refuses to comment on his resignation. "Education is the sphere where the results are seen after 1-2 years," the minister said to journalists after a cabinet meeting. He also did not comment on the rumors that he had ambitions to become YSU rector. "I have already commented on this. If you are careful, you will see how many fake news there are," says Arayik Harutyunyan and suggests follow his Facebook page posts. The Minister is responding to the news about the Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinematography (YSITC). "Within the jurisdiction, we will try to take measures and understand what the rector Davit Muradyan has to do with all this, and there is a very serious responsibility here." According to the minister, the rector's resignation is not discussed, first of all, it is about responsibility. "Even if he is not involved in corruption schemes, it is a fact that these corruption schemes have taken place in his organization. Any leader, who has such problems at his institution, is responsible for them," Arayik Harutyunyan says.
