Today, Prime Minister's Chief of Staff Eduard Aghajanyan said at a press conference that this year's events dedicated to Independence Day will be unprecedented and different. They will be held under the slogan "You are the independent person" and the main focus of the events will be Republic Square. "All streets leading to Republic Square will be provided to citizens, that is, they will be closed for traffic. The slogan is a very clear message, taking into account the experience of the velvet revolution when every citizen is targeted and the message is addressed to every citizen of the Republic of Armenia." The events will be inclusive. According to Eduard Aghajanyan, if a group of artists previously used monopoly to perform in such events, then this year new faces will also perform. On September 21, a reception is expected in Baghramyan 26 as well, where there will also be surprises. The start and end of the events will be in Republic Square.
