Today, Raffi Hovhannisyan, candidate for mayor of the Heritage party, said this at a news conference that as a senior candidate, he said to his junior colleagues in this election to be careful with the use of the state apparatus because it is a great temptation. According to him, if the elections were a matter of maintaining the regime during the previous authorities, now, after the revolution, the situation is different. "We are convinced that Yerevan resident will make a conscious choice. I think he will surprise us," he added. Referring to election bribes and rumors about them, Raffi Hovannisian said: "We are neither prosecutors nor policemen, it is not our function to say which public official or politician has said or done something or used the state leverage."
