Our boxers start Istanbul Olympics with victories
Five of the six representatives of Armenia have started their performances at the major international boxing tournament in Istanbul with victories. The press service of the Armenian Boxing Federation informs. Four of our athletes have won the Turkish boxers, while Hovhannes Bachkov won the Gonzalez athlete. Today, the quarter-finals will take place, where our sixth participant will perform. In case of victory, our boxers will at least win bronze medals. Our boxers are Artur Hovhannisyan (52 kg), Zhora Margaryan (64 kg), Hovhannes Bachkov (69 kg), Arsen Poghosyan (75 kg), Arman Darchinyan (91 kg) and Narek Manasyan (91 kg). Our team is headed by trainer Rudik Mkrtchyan.
