The Armenian national football team will hold the first meeting today in the newly formed UEFA League of Nations. Our team will host the national team of Liechtenstein at Republican  stadium in Yerevan. This is the first meeting of the two countries' teams. Lichtenstein team had 178 official matches, 12 of which were victorious, 21 were finished in a draw and 145 were lost. The opponenet had overall 10 defeats during 2018 World Cup qualifying campaign, scoring only one goal. If we add the Euro-2016 qualifier to that, then the number of defeats will increase by four. The current Liechtenstein squad looks pretty "particolored." Players from different nationalities are in the team. For example, Goalkeeper Lorenzo Lo Ruso is Italian, defender Andreas Malin and striker Simon Cuney are Austrians, Ivan Kintas is Spanish. And, midfielder Seyhan Yilmaz has Turkish roots. This year, the Liechtenstein team held one friendly match, which lost with the score of 0: 3 to the national team of the Faroe Islands. It is not surprising that bookmakers consider the Armenian national team as a favorite of this match.
