Today, Naira Zohrabyan, a member of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) told "A1+" that PAP will soon announce the name of its candidate for the mayor in Yerevan "We only have one decision regarding the Mayoral candidate - Prosperous Armenia will take part in the snap elections. It will become clear in the coming days who our candidate will be." Ms. Zohrabyan did not deny the rumors about her candidacy for the position of mayor. She also respects the candidacy of the Civil Contract Party. No one is her opponent, everyone is competitors. "We respect the decision of the Civil Contract Party and all political forces will nominate their candidates in the near future. All of us have one goal: to have a comfortable Yerevan. The decider will be done by residents of Yerevan. And one call, urge to all the political forces who will take part in the upcoming campaign," said the PAP MP. According to her, if we have the same fraudulent campaigns as it had been before the velvet revolution of love and tolerance, it would be a slap in the back of this beutiful revolution. "Every political force can run the campaigns 'below the belt,' we call on to go to a dignified campaign, not to target, hurt each other, but to present Yerevan's development plan. The judge and the appraiser will be Yerevan residents," she said. Naira Zohrabyan refused to comment on Robert Kocharyan's arrest and organizing a signature collection for his release. "Our answer to this question is clear: the problem is in the legal field and I will not answer any questions."
