President Sargsyan meets with representatives of national minorities (video)
President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sargsyan met today with the members of the coordinating council of national-cultural organizations of national minorities of Armenia, representing 11 Armenian minority communities. The meeting touched upon a number of issues related to the activities and status of the council, as well as to national minorities. Council members stressed the importance of the structure, conducted effective work and the need to preserve it. Having expressed willingness to cooperate with the structure representing national minorities, regardless of the status that it will have, the President noted that national minorities were the wealth of each country. "You should be proud of both the citizenship of the Republic of Armenia and your national identity," said Armen Sargsyan. The President of the Republic called on representatives of national minorities to submit clear proposals on issues of concern.
