Armenian chess players are among leaders
Former member of the Armenia's national chess team Sergey Movsesyan is at the Rapid Chess Championship in Czech Republic. After four rounds, our GM has scored 3.5 points and shares the 5-10th places. Five chess players, including Armenian GM, representing Russia David Paravyan scored 4 points each. A large number of Armenian chess players are taking part in the Nana Alexandria Cup in Poti. After 7 rounds, the leader of the tournament is GM Levan Pantsulaia, who has 5.5 points. Then seven chess players are in leading positions, who are half a point behind the leader. Our compatriots Tigran Harutyunyan and Gevorg Harutyunyan among those seven players. Two rounds left at the end of the tournament.
