Karen Petrosyan, a member of the "New Armenia, New Patriarch" initiative, has been appointed acting director of ASUE Gyumri branch. He told "A1 +" that he had worked in the university since 2003. "I was also a student of this university, the president of the student council. The YSU has decided to entrust this position to me. " Karen Petrosyan mentioned that there is a lack of motivation in the educational system both among students and lecturers. "After graduating from the university, we do not know what kind of specialist we are, where we should work, and this is due to lack of practice. There are many problems in the universities, there are some corruption risks related to previous legal relations. The education system needs serious reforms." Despite his new position, Karen Petrosyan will continue his active civilian activity in his free time. "I will continue to do my responsibilities, and I have enough time to do that. The route from Gyumri to Yerevan is not long and I will be in Yerevan during my free hours to continue the "New Armenia, New Patriarch" initiative.
