World Cup 2018 left without ex-champions and vice-champions
After the first four games of the 1/8 finals of the World Cup in Russia, there is no team which has previously played in the final of the tournament. 2014 World Champion Germany was out of the group stage, while vice-champion Argentina ended the fight in 1/8 finals. The Spanish team, consisting of six world champions of 2010, failed the game with Russians in the 1/8 finals. Thus, new champions and vice-champions will appear in the world championship.
