A representative of Armenia, sculptor Michael Ohanjanyan from Italy, won an international competition in Italy, which was organized in order to place a unique piece of contemporary art in the Opera House of Florence. Art critics, art historians and composers presented 45 suggestions to the competition. The best of the 5 artists who passed the final round was sculptor Michael Ohanjanyan with his composition entitled "Threshold is the source." This information was published yesterday by the Art for the World international organization, noting that "Michael Ohanjanyan's original work is called 'Threshold is the source,' will be placed in the lobby of the Opera House of the city of Florence for 6 months, starting in 2018 in October." The requirement for the composition was to design a job that interpreted the essence of the hope from the standpoint of globally glorious works and contemporary art issues in Florence. The main prerequisite of the competition organized in February was to present the work in the style of modern art, expressing universal values. Michael Ohanjanyan's project presents a unique comment of hope. "Hope for me is a dynamic movement, action, spark of life, I would say, it is life itself, it is hope ..." comments the artist.
