The victory of Erdogan and his party in snap presidential and parliamentary elections in Turkey was conditioned by several factors, including fraud and administrative levers. "With these elections, Erdogan's de facto powers have become de jure," says Turkologist Gevorg Petrosyan.
He considers it important to switch of the Democratic Party of Pro-Kurdish Peoples to Mejlis. "Under such pressure, the pro-Kurdish party gained more than 10 per cent votes." The Turkologist considers the post-election developments in the neighboring country as small, since all the opposition forces have actually taken the results of the elections. Nevertheless, Erdogan is expected to do hard work. "Improving the social situation in the country is a priority for him, and a large number of the society is dissatisfied with Erdogan," he says.
