Croatia defeats Argentina and enters 1/8 finals (video)
In the second round of the FIFA World Cup group stage, Croatia's team won the Argentina team and reached 1/8 finals ahead of time. In the first half of the match in Nizhni Novgorod the sides failed to score a goal, but after the break one after another Croatia's team was distinguished. In the 53th minute of the match, Ante Rebic, using the mistake of the Argentinian defender, scored a goal. In the 80th minute, Luka Modric doubled it with a long shot and Ivan Rakitic scored the third goal in the first minute of the extra time given by the referee. Thus, the Croation team won one of the favourite teams - Argentina with 3:0, got 6 points and reached 1/8 finals. Argentina retreted to the third place with 3 points. In the last rounds Croatia will play aganist Iceland, and Argentina - Nigeria.
