Armen Sargsyan meets with Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia Seyyed Kazem Sajjad
Today President Armen Sargsyan received the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia Seyyed Kazem Sajjad. Welcoming the guest, the President noted that Armenia attaches great importance to the high-level inter-state relations built on the centuries-old friendship of the two peoples, which creates a good opportunity for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation. The interlocutors agreed that there is still unused potential in the Armenian-Iranian economic relations, which should continue to work consistently in the direction of its effective implementation. The importance of activating the programs on the bilateral economic agenda, as well as the temporary agreement on free trade between Iran and the EAEU, which opens great opportunities for cooperation, were highlighted.
