Despite the fact that in Armenia, men and women are equal, and there is no law of giving men advantages, but Armenia is moving to a field, where the formulations of violation of women's rights are put. Today in a conversation with journalists, the same opinion was voiced by the president of the Republican Union of Employers Gagik Makaryan. "Recently, the problems of gender equality have become more active. Many experts cite data, according to which, among the total labor resources, women's resources are 55%. Among women under 29, 45% neither study nor work. 68% of officially registered unemployed are women. But one of the reasons for this is that men simply do not apply and are not registered. Women receive a salary of 68% of the salary of men," said Gagik Makaryan. Gagik Makaryan, referring to the development of the business environment, the need to improve business culture, stressed that this required the attention of government agencies. "There is still a merger of business and government officials. In the state apparatus there is a lack of motivation for people occupying public positions. There is also negligence. They often make mistakes on different occasions, but do not bear responsibility for these errors or the question ends with a request for forgiveness."
