There are impassible roadways in Armenia

According to the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations on January 17, at 9 am, there were impassible roadways in Armenia.

In the afternoon of January 16, from January 17-19, occasional precipitations are expected from time to time in some regions, in separate places, wind intensification is up to 15-20 m/s. No precipitation is expected on January 20-21.

Sotk-Karvachar highway is impassible.


In Jermuk, Vayots region, there is light snow.

There is ice on Vardenyants Pass and Sisian-Kapan highway.

We urge all the drivers to travel only with the winter tires.

According to information received from the Georgian Interior Ministry’s Emergency Situations Ministry and the North Ossetian General Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all means of transportation.
