The world's oldest athlete, French cyclist Robert Marshan, has made a decision to stop performing. In January, 2017, he crossed the 22,528 km race in an hour on the bicycle, setting a world record among 105 years' old cyclists. It is worth mentioning that the French athlete was engaged in cycling for 90 years. He had set several world records. Particularly, at the age of 100, he was able to pass 100 km race in 4 hours and 27 seconds. And now, 106-year-old Robert Marshan officially announced that he did not want to set new record anymore and decided to stop performing. But the oldest athlete in the world has not completely separated from his "iron friend" and continues to bike, but already for fun.
