MPs DONT BETRAY SUREN ABRAHAMYAN

Social

Suren Abrahamyan, the former Internal Affairs Minister, one of the October 27 terrorist action victims and a long-awaited witness, testified today before the Centre, Nork-Marash first instance court.

The witness remembers the day the crime was committed. He was exhausted and fell asleep. That’s why he didn’t see how the terrorists have rushed into the session room. He also doesn’t remember how he found himself lying on the floor.

He heard the terrorists to ask where he was. The presents said he was absent from the room. Abrahamyan heard attackers looking for him making insulting remarks to him. Only upon getting out of the room he learned that Vazgen Sargsyan and Karen Demirchyan were killed. And before, he thought they have been taken as hostages. The minister managed to escape helping move out the wounded of the room.

That night he announced he would resign as Interior Minister immediately upon releasing the hostages. And he did.

The former minister is convinced this crime is a carefully orchestrated plot against the people and the state.
