Lawyer Yunoshev asked at today’s hearing on the October 27 terrorist action case why, and on whose decision Russian special military unit “Alpha” has come in Yerevan. Suren Abrahamyan said he didn’t know who exactly decided this. He says he welcomed arrival of the “Alpha” as it was an experienced and smooth-running unit. Abrahamyan also say the “Alpha” announced upon its arrival that it wasn’t going to interfere in any military action, though was eager to help with instructions. However, by the time the group came, there was no need in military action in Parliament.
