World famous pianist Alexander Romanovsky to have solo concert in Yerevan

On October 31, within the framework of the 5th Khachaturian International Festival, Alexander Romenovsky, renowned pianist, Kachaturian Festival's resident, will perform a solo concert at Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall. The concert will feature Robert Shuman, Alexey Shor and Modest Mussorgsky. Classical music lovers warmly welcome Alexander Romanovsky's performances. Our music lovers will enjoy his enterpretation of Khachaturian's Prokofyev's and Chaikovsky's works. This time the famous pianist will have his solo concert. Romanovsky' confessed that Armenia had a special place in his life where he would like to be more often. "Here I have found many things that i considered to be important in music. I feel that Armenia gravitates me," said the musician. Alexander Romanovsky studied at the Imola Piano Academy, and also at  the Royal College of Music in London. Just recently, as a soloist, Romanovsky has performed at the Mariinsky Theater with the orchestra lead by Valery Gergiev, and under the direction of James Colonn, with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Under the direction of Allan Gilbert, he has performed with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra.  He has performed at the Barbican Center in London with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and so on. At the age of 17, Romanovsky was awarded the 1st prize at the International Competition after Buzonti. He has released 3 CDs, including Shuman, Brahms and Rachmaninov, under the Decca recording brand since 2007. Since 2013, Romanovsky has been the artistic director of the Vladimir Kreynev Young Pianists International Competition in Moscow.
