Armenian arts representatives gathered Wednesday before the Russian Federation Embassy in Yerevan in a protest against growing pressure on the Armenians living in Russian federation, where a series of clashes between local residents and Armenians occurred. The embassy guard bared the protesters from coming up to the building. The demonstrators were also denied the meeting with the Ambassador.

The protesters accused Armenian leadership of turning a blind eye to increasing upsets in Russian Krasnodar province. They think luck of reaction from Armenian side promotes such a situation. If we don’t express our concern, this tendency will advance, demonstrators say.
