Baku violates the agreement (video)
On October 22, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, violating the agreement reached during the recent meeting of the Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents in Geneva, organized by the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, used artillery weapons on the Armenian north-west positions (Martakert-Mataghis). They released five mortar missiles and one SPAYK (anti-tank missile) to the Line of Contact. That proves that Baku, as always, does not tend to pursue the agreement on peaceful settlement of the conflict, excluding unjustified losses, but on the contrary, it destabilizes the situation through premeditated provocations. Taking into consideration the necessity of effective implementation of the processes aimed at the peaceful settlement of the Azerbaijani-Artsakh conflict by the international community, and in particular the OSCE Minsk Group, the armed forces of Artsakh refrained from retaliatory actions. But it does not mean that in case of the continuation of the adversary's policy, its hostile actions will remain unanswered. The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Artsakh warns Baku's military-political leadership that if the provocations continue, the answer will be disproportionate and painful, the RA MoD reports.
