Enhanced inspection visits are continuing in the Dilijan National Park of the Ministry of Nature Protection to prevent and detect cases of illegal logging and poaching.
3 violations of forest fauna and 6 illegal loggings were identified during these visits. The national park sold 93.0 cubic meters of timber, on average 3,000 drams for per 1 m³ of tail (overall 877, 6 thousand drams).
Relevant specialists of the Dilijan National Park met with the representatives of the ADEA Foundation and the Trans-Caucasian Trail NGO to discuss eco-routes and future plans.
During the week, one illegal fishing case was revealed by the SNCO Protection Department staff.
