ROBERT KOCHARYAN WON'T CREATE "A1+" TV COMPANY YET
Support A1+!Today in "Aragats" factory Robert Kocharyan wasn't in the mood for to answer the questions referring to "A1+" TV Company. Nevertheless, answering the question" How do you regard USA Embassy anxiety for "A1+" TV Company ceasing?" he said:" The Embassy can express whatever it likes".
The president said there's no need to summarize a particular problem and express anxiety for the danger threatening speech freedom in Armenia. President emphasized another point in the the Embassy statement:" I think it would be much worse if the same Embassy announced that the competition was carried out on illegal background".
He also referred to the demands to him in the last-Friday protest meeting which were: to restore "A1+" TV Channel, to invalidate the competition carried out by TV and Radio National Commission and dissolve the Commission. " If the 14 people having organized the meeting and having signed under the demands were aware of the Armenian Constitution and Legislation they would think properly whether to sign the document or not",- president assured.
By the way, on 2nd the April Robert Kocharyan announced in "Zvartnots" Airport if "A1+" TV Company didn't exist he would have to create it. Today in reply to the question "When are you going to create "A1+" TV Company?" he said:" We'll think over it after the Court decree, I don't know".
