PROTEST MEETING AT THE GOVERNMENT BUILDING
Support A1+!Today the personnel of passenger vehicle organization organized a protest meeting. They demanded not to take their organization.
According to the decision of the Government last June the company was owned by nearly $ 50,5 mln by the personnel. Just 2 months later the government decided to sell in auction the already privatized company. Drivers think the author of it to be the Minister of the State Property Management David Vardanyan.
Drivers appealed to the Court but it was denied stating that the decision of the Government can only be appealed against in Constitutional court. By the Constitution the citizens of Armenia are deprived of the right to appeal to the Constitutional court.
By the way, the Prime-Minister promised the drivers to discuss the problem during the next Government Session. Drivers declare that they will go on strike in case the problem is solved against them. It’s worth to mention that the company provides all the routes from Yerevan to regions.
