ECOLOGY INFORMATION CENTRE WILL BE FUNCTIONING IN YEREVAN
Support A1+!Ecology information social centre will be functioning in yerevan since May. Today the Ecology Minister Vardan Ayvazyan and OSCE Yerevan Office chairman Roy Riv signed a memorandum on that.
The centre aim is to meet the "Orhus"convention requirements on ecology information access and public participance when decisions are made. Everybody can apply to the centre.
OSCE set aside $25.000 for the centre establishment and 1st year functioning, i.e. centre repair, furniture, computers and other kind of equipment as well as literature procurement.
