Foreign Minister received the State Secretary for Strategic Affairs of Romania
On July 4 the Minister of Foreign Affairs received the State Secretary for Strategic Affairs of Romania Bogdan Aurescu, who arrived in Armenia to take part in the consultations between the MFAs of the two countries. During the meeting the sides exchanged views on the ways of the development of bilateral ties. In this regards an importance was attached to the activation of inter-parliamentary ties, the advancement of trade and economic ties, the expansion of decentralized cooperation, the activation of cultural exchanges. The sides commended the role of the Armenian community in the development of bilateral relations. Minister Nalbandian and State Secretary Aurescu touched upon Armenia-European Union relations. Minister Nalbandian presented the steps undertaken by Armenia and the International community towards the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, highlighting the significance to support the efforts exerted by the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs.
