Shushan Petrosyan interested in candidate selection criteria (video)
Famous Armenian signer, Republican Party MP Shushan Petrosyan wants to know by which criteria the Minister of Culture will appoint the new director of National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet after Alexander Spendiarian. “I know all the nine candidates and I wonder which criteria you will be guided by in the selection process,” the MP said during the answer-and-question session. In reply, Minister Hamik Poghosyan said they will be guided by the provisions of the Law on SNCO. Shushan Petrosyan then said that only one of the candidates had submitted a program. “Do not make such statements and delude public. All candidates have already presented their programs,” said the minister.
