WHO IS TO MAKE PROFIT MORE, ARMENIA OR EUROPE?

Economy

Armenia, having fixed an unprecedented economic growth, aims at once to integrate into the markets of European countries. The country, becoming economically strong, doesn’t frighten the Europeans, and they are even ready to support Armenia for that purpose, foreseeing possibility for taking root into our market.

The heads of Trade and Industry Chambers of Black Sea Co-operation countries are in Armenia to participate in the 3-day works of Economic Business Council of Black Sea Co-operation.

For the first time the representatives of that structure gathered at one place to discuss the general problems of business relations. But there are absentees. Azerbaijan representative didn’t arrive to Armenia , reasoning he was unhealthy.

“To ease communication between businessmen of various countries the organisation displays special support for procurement of entrance visas to different countries” , Kostas Masmanidis, Secretary General of Business Council, informed.

The Greek head of the organisation is well-informed that conception for “business relation” is much broader and not limited into tour of one businessman. Businessmen are much more worried about the transportation of their output to the markets in a more accessible manner.

But Economic Council of Black Sea Co-operation is not occupied with transporting problems. It wasn’t clear in particular how Armenia can normally co-operate with other countries under blockade and simultaneously integrate with European market.

Mr Masmanidis said in a very naive way those problems are not their business and businessmen themselves must decide what way to choose for their trucks.

During previous meetings a contract regarding Armenia was concluded. Under it, Trade and Industry Chamber of Armenia will soon begin co-operating with Trade Department of Moscow and will begin exporting Armenian goods, agriculture foodstuffs in particular.
