APRICOT CROP TO BE TWICE LOWER IN ARMENIA THIS YEAR

Unprecedented plenty rain of this spring inflicted considerable damage to Armenian agriculture, Armenian Agriculture Minister Armen Avetisyan says. He didn’t provide the exact figures, because of lack of official data, as he said. He just noticed that this year apricot crop expected to be 50 to 60% lower.

Today, at the government meeting it was decided to give the investments of Chinese and Japanese governments to agriculture area. It is planned to purchase agriculture technique, Armen Avetisyan says.
