"LADA" AND "GAZ" CARS MAY GO UP IN PRICE

The prices for "Lada" and "Gaz" cars, being imported to Armenia by the compnaies "Armenia Lada" and "Karkomavto", are likely to increase. Proceeding from economic interest and need for protection of external market of Armenia, the Custom Committee decided to make custom clearance of the above cars based on their market price.

The dispute between the Custom Committee and the above companies is now under consideration of first instance court. The plaintiff side states that whenever the Custom committee itself intends to buy a car, it makes the clearance based on the contractual price of the bargain.
