Farmers in Armenia have decided to associate in order to stand for their rights. There have been created peasant unions in provinces. Each union will include nearly 30 farmers.

The project of peasant unions have been created by Agrarian-Pesant Union of Armenia with farmers' participation. The project has not found support by the Ministry of Agriculture yet.
