APPEAL OF AZERI FA MINISTER TO UNO IS OF NO LOGIC
Support A1+!“Most probably, Foreign Affairs Ministry of Azerbaijan didn’t properly go into the UNO’ Security Council formulae, regarding Nagorno Karabakh as it appeals to UNO calling it to make the Armenian part unreservedly meet them” , Ashot Ghulyan, Karabakhi Minister of Foreign Affairs told at the interview with “De Facto” Agency, commenting on the recent letter of his Azeri colleague Vilayat Guliev to UN Secretary General and Security Council Chairman, where he expresses displeasure over SC stance to Karabakhi conflict.
Under Ghulyan’s words, some requirements in SC formulae first refer to Azerbaijan, which didn’t meet them.
”To spite the decisions of SC and persuasions of various international structures and separate countries, Azeri side has kept Nagorno Karabakh in transport, economical, energy blockade for 15 years, not ceasing hostilities against it, which in particular is expressed in bellicose and anti-Armenian hysteria in Azerbaijan”, NKR FA Minister says.
The Minister stated that because of the rather strict position of Azerbaijan’s leadership /they have rejected all the recent suggestions of OSCE Minsk Group/ conflict settlement process has reached a deadlock now.
“Mr Guliev’s appeal to UNO is of no logic because through its aggressive policy Azerbaijan itself puts grave obstacles in the whole process of Karabakhi conflict settlement” , Ghulyan announced.
