NOT MAJORITY YET

Politics

Doing everything in its power to occupy seats in Parliament, Party for Armenia’s Democratic and Liberal Union postpones the conversations about the “shady cabinet” after the elections.

The Party doesn’t overvalue its capacities. After the first round of propaganda set for Seyran Avagyan, he concludes: it will be less probable to hold an absolute majority in Parliament .

But nothing is lost as the fight has just started. After the elections ADLU isn’t going to plunge into execution of its platform. 3-4 months later the elections the party will hold a conference, to appraise the power achieved, i.e. to account how many MPs there will be in the party, and then to decide how to implement the party programs.

ADLU members will fight for Constitutional reforms together with becoming MPs. They assure the issue of Constitutional reforms caused great interest among the public. They came to that conclusion after province visit, when villagers told Avagyan “the problem was somehow neglected” .

Being encouraged by the attention of the people to the issue, ADLU began propagandising its attitude to Constitutional reforms. Avagyan is sure and tries to convince the electorate that in the much-talked-of reforms there is a step to the Constitution we have dreamt of .

To prove ADLU doesn’t suffer from haughtiness, Avagyan says “We haven’t said and don’t say that we have established so-called medium stratum. I don’t know when it was created. But it is the problem of our country and we appear with a program to solve them”.
