ROY REEVE: WE’D LIKE OMBUDSMAN TO BE NOMINATED BY PARLIAMENT, NOT BY PRESIDENT
Support A1+!OSCE Yerevan headquarters favours an idea of conducting Constitutional-reform-relating referendum simultaneously with parliamentary elections scheduled for May 2003.
OSCE Ambassador Roy Reeve thinks the elections will help to ensure maximum people participation in the referendum. “We have our interests in this issue and we’d like ombudsman to be nominated by parliament, not by president”, he says.
