GUESS WHO

Politics

Today afternoon president Robert Kocharyan executed his civic duty in Yerevan Kentron community. President came to vote with his son and daughter. After voting and private talk with the election committee head president answered the journalists questions.

Robert Kochryan refused to foretell election results or to say whether the election would be “open and transparent, fair and free” or not. “Nevertheless everything possible was done in that direction: law enforcement structures were previously warned not to interfere the election process as far as possible. The responsible persons reported that everything is calm and quiet yet”, the president said.

Robert Kocharyan stressed the importance of one condition in the process of election: “One must know both how to win and to lose with dignity. The winner must be restrained, the looser must take his defeat and congratulate the rival”.

By the way, journalists couldn’t ascertain for whom the president voted. “Try to guess”, he advised. Taking into consideration his principles, points of view and the forthcoming presidential elections, it’s easy to guess whom Kocharyan would like to see on the post of Kentron community head. And of course it would be not the opposition candidate, but the one supported by authorities.
It is to be noted that ex-president Levon Ter-Petrosyan has to vote at the same polling station today.
