KHAKAMADA IN YEREVAN

Irina Khakamada, Vice-Speaker of Russian State Duma, visited the Genocide Memorial in Armenia. She paid tribute to victims’ memory, planted a silver fir-tree and went to Genocide Museum.
“It is necessary to do so as any possibility for such a genocide could not happen. I think your officials must do their best to achieve that. They must also do their utmost in order that genocide might be recognised by Turkey namely. Of course, the world is to support it, too” ,- Khakamada says.
Mrs Khakamada is in Armenia on Ramkavar Azatakan party invitation. She is going to take part in the 11 congress of the party.
