Gagik Tsarukyan visits hail-stricken community
Leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) Gagik Tsarukyan visited Armavir region where he met with people affected by the recent hailstorm earlier this week.
Mr Tsarukyan talked to the locals and heard their concerns.
The hail affected a total of 17,000 hectares of crops in 43 communities, the Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan said on Thursday. Vineyards and fruit trees suffered the highest damage. a special community commission is clarifying the size of the damage caused by the hailstorm to a number of rural communities.
