Earthquake hits Iran
A 5.7 magnitude earthquake hit Iran, 44 km northwest from the town of Ahar, at about 3.58 am Yerevan time, Armenia's Seismic Protection Service reports.
The force at the hypocenter measured 6 on the Richter scale.
accpording to preliminary reports, the quake was felt in a number of Armenian settlements, including Kajaran and Kapan.
